Merry Christmas

Ok we had it all in the last 12 hours. Thunder lightening rain snow/ hail and now crazy winds. Our gardens are in complete shock. So here is my advice... Let your garden Rest. These next few weeks are busy enough so let you and your garden just be. You should have built protection for the tender ones by now if not they will probably die back or die off and there is nothing to do until it gets warmer. Just watch the water needs with the winds. Please water early in day so the cold nights won't create ice on your plants. Know that their roots in the ground are probably fine and in February we will talk about cutting back and clean up for Spring growth.

I will not be posting again until January.
Taking time off for family and friends.
Hope all is well for you and yours.
Christmas Blessings to all of you

The crazy winds

Hopefully your gardens pots and patio furniture is surviving these crazy winds... We are due to have these prevailing through tomorrow so if there are lulls ease check your pots and gardens for water levels. Early morning the winds often calm down and you could water during that time period. Be careful of yourselves and your animals being out too much and having to breath all the dust and allergens that are swirling around.
